Apart from lasting 26 hours on the whole (including 3 flights, 2 stopovers and about 43 units of microsleep) we had a very pleasant journey from Vienna to Hanoi. As we got used to discount airlines over the years, the 7 hour flight with Quatar Airways, which provided us with unlimited drinks, game consoles and a multitude of on-board movies to choose from, was maybe the most luxurious experience we will have the following six months...

Even our luggage arrived completely. The only minor casualties we had to face in the course of the flights were 1.) the button of my pants that rocketed off after the second meal on Quatar Airways, and 2.) Stevies dignity after being hit on by a lovely (male) customs officer...
