Rabbit island wasn't that much of a paradise for me at all, at least the first few days: It may surprise you, but on Rabbit Island, or Koh Tonsay, there isn't living one single rabbit. But in exchange, the island is crowded with cows, chicken and goats - quite an unusual view to see a cow basking in the sun on the beach, or chicks feeding on coconuts or goats on mango fruits.

But despite their farming habits, inhabitants of Koh Tonsay used to be fishermen for generations, which makes the Rabbit Island famous for its superb seafood. Thus, we really looked forward to the freshly caught fish, squid or shrimps. And indeed it was great! Until the diarrhea and throwing-up set in the first night, curiously almost at the same time. As the others didn't have problems it probably was the fish I had for dinner. My suspicion was substantiated by the fact that exactly the same fish was fed to some crabs in a trap and half of these crabs where found dead the next morning. Not simply dead, but having thrown away whole limbs in their agony. And thats exactly how I felt the first night.
But after having recovered fully a few days afterwards, the island was as much of a paradise for me as for the other two guys...
