After the strains of the Gibbon experience we really enjoyed two days of lazing around on the slowboat (nomen est omen) from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang.
We weren't talking or doing much, just gathering impressions of the landscape as it slowly changed with every kilometer we made downstream.
