Mildford Track - Addendum

The Milford Track may be one of the finest walks in the world, as it is advertised. But the emphasis definitely lies on "walk". Marching 3 out of 4 days through flat, though wet, terrain cannot really be considered a hike. To spice up things a bit, we left two thirds of our food supply in our Van. ;) But at the end we managed to reach the final destination, Sandfly Point (which really lives up to its name), without being macerated and only with minor blisters on my feet.

One of my personal highlights of the track was our daredevil venture behind the Sutherland Falls, the highest waterfalls on the Southern Hemisphere.
